I was having a difficult time yesterday worrying about things that I wanted or needed but didn’t have. Driving home from work, I turned on my TobyMac CD and this song started up. I had to work really hard not to start balling while I drove. God has such an amazing way of providing exactly what we need to be encouraged. While I drove, I was reminded of how loved I really was. God always provides for us. We may stress over paying the bills but we’ve never had to wonder where our next meal is coming from. We have clothes on our bodies and food in our tummies. It doesn’t matter that I don’t have everything that I want or that I can’t do everything I want or go anywhere I want. All that matters is God. He is everything I need. Without Him, I would be nothing, have nothing. He loves me. He will take care of me always. I don’t need to stress over anything because He’s got it taken care of for me. Thank goodness that I’m not in control. My life would be utter chaos if I were.
