Have to update...

Okay, I know I’ve already posted today but I needed to let all my blogger friends know what I’ve discovered. I don’t know how many of you have played with Google recently. They have added many new features. My favorites include their calendar, document and photo storage, and their Reader feature. For those of you that keep track of blogs, this is the one that will interest you most. Simply go to www.google.com/reader. You will have to have an iGoogle account but this can be arranged with your current email address. You don’t have to have a Gmail account. Once this account is set up you have access of all of Google’s wonderful new features. It is no longer just a wonderful search engine! If you are going through the main Google page, sign into your iGoogle account and click the drop down list on the top left hand side. It’s going to be after a list of features that Google now offers. Click that arrow and look for “Reader”. Clicking on this brings you to the home of every addictive blog reader. You can add links to all the blogs you follow. They can be Blogspot, Myspace, or other similar websites. Once you have added the address, your account will track all these blogs for you. No longer will you have to check a dozen different websites everyday like I had been doing. It’s a one-stop-shop. You can organize your blogs into folders or leave this as just a list. It will bold each blog that has an update. From there, when there is an update, you read it in Google, pictures and everything, or you can click the link and it will take you to the blog itself.
