And ‘sucker’…. And ‘stupid’… and all kinds of other demeaning adjectives. I hate seeing anyone in a pinch and want to help out when I do see it. Thus, I will be working an extra five hours tonight. One of my coworkers has pneumonia. That’s hard enough to deal with, I’m sure. Anyway, she called in again today, just as she did Saturday and Sunday. Guess I’m just her designated coverage. =P Seriously though, I have to be happy about it. You’re talking 25 hours of over time! I’ll be exhausted tomorrow but I’ll take the paycheck in two weeks!
